Next stop along that track will be the opening of the Lotusphere 2010 registration site and the request for abstracts. In previous years, the date has varied by as much as 7 weeks - from this week in August right through to early October:

because in my world, the sentiment, financial/business situation, etc that go in to getting a yes/no decision vary alot day to day.
I'd like to have asked a few weeks ago when I completed a well received project-I'd rather take a yes for LS2010 than a project bonus.
So my hope is for today, my guess is end August.

Well, registration being still closed has cost IBM $2000 and one attendee - me! We've just had a spending freeze imposed and it looks like this will be the first I miss for 12 years. Not a happy bunny at all - if anyone's got a spare (free!!) registration let me know...
